Today's Outfit of the Week is one of my favorites for this time of year and I can't find it anywhere! This picture is of the one of the last times that I wore it (pre-pregnancy). A few months later I found out that I was expecting and I carefully packed it away along with quite a few other dresses. We put it down under my parents' house and now I can't find it anywhere. The entire box of dresses has disappeared!
I am determined to find it. It has to be down there somewhere. Most of the dresses probably won't fit anymore, but a few might!
Goal for next week: find this dress!
That's very pretty! I hope you find it!
ReplyDeleteI think you and I have very similar tastes in outfits :)
I saw you said on my blog that you knit, do you crochet as well? (I know how to do neither, but I'm thinking of asking my mom to teach me) I saw this on Etsy and thought it was awesome. And thought maybe if you knew how to crochet as well you would think it was neat too!

I love how it's from the 1900's!
I LOVE that dress! It's beautiful, and that color is gorgeous on you. Good luck finding it, I certainly would not give up yet, it's too good. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Allison-
ReplyDeleteI'm just learning how to crochet, but I'm not very good. I've got the single crochet stitch down, but every time I think I've figured another one out I find out that I've really just made up a stitch of my own. Apparently I'm not as good at figuring out crocheting from books as I was at figuring out knitting. I"ll definitely go check out the Etsy listing right now. I was super excited because I just found two crochet magazines at a antique store (they actually aren't old at all) and I'm trying to use them to motivate myself into learning more.
Hi Brooke-
ReplyDeleteI am ready to start my search for the dress tomorrow after Mass. I'm hoping I can enlist my husbands help despite his complaints that he needs to study. There are an awful lot of spiders under the house!
