Sadie is not a fan of the happy birthday song. She has already burst into tears once today when Nani sang happy birthday when we came downstairs, so we'll have to work on variations of the song before the cake comes out tonight. It's the only song she reacts like that to, and I have no idea why! She usually loves singing.
Our satellite internet is slower than dial up today, so this may be my only post! Only two more years until I'm thirty. I wonder where we will be then...
Oh, that's funny! Kid you not, that song made me bawl every year when I was a kid. I think it had something to do with everyone staring at me and making such a fuss. I told that to a guy I dated in high school, and he began telling every single restaurant that we went to that it was my birthday so they'd come out singing. It was his thinking that this would help me get over my "Happy Birthday Song" phobia.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't work. :-)
Happy birthday!
Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great one and may God bless you with many more!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!
ReplyDeleteYou might be the very first April 1st birthday girl I've ever "met". Well, at least we all know Paul didn't get an April fool when he found you.
ReplyDeleteI wish you many felicitations of the day.
