I was delighted the Spartans won, too, though DH received his M.A. from Ohio State. I feel no connection at all to OSU or Columbus (most boring year in our lives) but was happy because an MSU win assured Auburn of a place in the championship game, and we have tons of good friends who graduated from Auburn.
