Right now while I'm pregnant I'm avoiding tylenol because a study just shows a link between problems with kids and autism and tylenol and so it's kind of banned from our house at the moment (because they think it may act as a trigger... they find autistic kids were 6 times more likely to be given tylenol when they're vaccinated and think there may be a link).

I think giving it up has been one of the hardest things about this pregnancy! But thank you for the suggestion! I'll definitely have to ask about it once I'm nursing (because I think I'd worry about it less nursing than when I'm actually pregnant!).Cammie Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07137080807945525006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8188078120365131355.post-67722700497395216702014-04-25T09:30:26.567-04:002014-04-25T09:30:26.567-04:00Re: the migraines, ask your doc/midwife if you can...Re: the migraines, ask your doc/midwife if you can get a prescription for Butalbital. It's a Tylenol-caffeine blend that is safe for pregnancy. My midwife prescribed it for me in my third pregnancy because of the debilitating migraines I was having. My dosage was 2 pills every 4 hours, but she told me I could take one and see if that helped and if not could take the second pill an hour or so later. I only ever had to take one to knock out the migraine when I felt it coming on, and taking one didn't make me super drowsy. It was wonderful, especially because I was working full time outside the home and also had two little ones to care for.Traciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04255033554653510277noreply@blogger.com
