The Birthday Request

Sadie has announced what she wants for her birthday... It came in this form yesterday morning after she rushed into the room while I was getting dressed, hugged a huge roll of black crepe fabric and looked at me. I asked her if she knew what she wanted for her birthday (I had a feeling...). She said:

"Want Ma make me a Holy Baby Dress."

And snuggled up to the fabric a second time. This is going to be interesting... I started working on it last night... I hope it's sturdy enough (the fabric) to stand up to a toddler...

    I have a feeling you'll never get that dress off Sadie once she has it! It will likely become a habit. Sorry...couldn't resist! :)
