I've been busy making chaplets! I have a to-do list that I can't see the end of because I keep finding chaplets that I want to make! This Saint Michael is one of the latest that I added to my shop!
Very rarely do I design a chaplet and then make one to keep for myself. This one falls under that category!
I took my rosary to the hospital where I am doing my rotations as a student...I showed everyone in the lab the rosary you made and their jaws dropped. They were oooohh and awwweing. Even though all of them are not catholic, they really saw the beauty in my rosary and kept saying how beautiful it is and kept touching it. Now all I need is a unique rosary case.
ReplyDeleteYou should do a stations of the cross one
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you like it! When I made it Paul said he thought it was the prettiest one I'd ever made too! And that is my favorite color combination!
ReplyDeleteI have all the medals to make a couple stations of the cross chaplets! Now I just need to get to work! So many chaplets so little time (but that is one I definitely should get up sooner rather than later since it's lent!)!
Hi Jana-
ReplyDeleteThanks! I order almost all the centers from Ave Maria' Circle ( https://avemariascircle.com/zencart/index.php/ ). Everything that I've gotten from them has been great! I just placed another order last night for more brass centers and crucifixes (although I don't think I found one like the one in the picture that I purchased from them earlier) because I love how the brass and copper look together!
I LOVE that first chaplet. I have such a devotion to St. Michael. :)
ReplyDeleteLet me know if you ever make a St. Gianna rosary. Gianna is one of my little girl's patrons, and I'd love to get one for her!
Beautiful! I have a similar Irish rosary (with those same green shamrock beads) my grandmother gave me when I was going through RCIA. I carried it on my wedding day (our colors were green, silver, and cream). It's sort of my "special occasion" rosary--I have another wooden one from Medjugorje that I use for my regular prayers.
