I've had lots of people ask me about the white headcovering that is in my profile picture and that Sadie sometimes wears. Paul got it at a little local Catholic bookstore shortly after we were married, after I became interested in covering my head (in other words, about three years ago!) and I haven't seen another one like it since. I spotted this one the other day though and it is very close! And compared with some of the "dream veils" that I posted about last year, it is very affordable.

Head Covering of the Week
I've had lots of people ask me about the white headcovering that is in my profile picture and that Sadie sometimes wears. I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!

I remember that my mother and the other women of our church wore them when I was growing up. Not so much now.
