My friend lives in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and from what she tells me, there is a lot of heartache and pain in the parishes. When I read this and the links (and Whispers in the Loggia) I skipped to the phone to call her. I'd move to Philly for this! Cheesesteaks and Chaput, I'm all about that!
My oldest daughter's Godmother is having an absolute fit on FB about Chaput because he's conservative, not from the northeast and is Native American. I on the other hand think it's great. I'm finding the comments on FB from the cafeteria/non-practicing Catholics on my husband's side of the family rather interesting. I think he's going to be just what Philadelphia needs right now.
I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!
