My Sewing Project: Dress #2
Here's my second try at making a dress for myself. I'm planning on wearing it with my black cardigan. The pattern is from Chic and Simple Sewing by Christine Haynes (which was also where I got the pattern for the other dress). I love the ruffle at the bottom!

I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!

Very nice CAM!
ReplyDeleteI like, you should take a picture with the cardigan on. Did you make the cardigan as well?
ReplyDeleteIt sounds
ReplyDeleteas if you are new to sewing, yes? I would highly recommend patterns from Loes Hinse.

They are pricey, but when you factor in the number of times you use one pattern, the cost per garment goes down. These patterns fit well, are simple to make, and are fashionable.
And no, I don't work for her, just know that they are good patterns.
Very nice! Impressive too, considering the two adorable babies you have:)

Love it! I may have to try that pattern myself some day.
