She followed Daddy into the kitchen where he was making an early dinner for himself before his first day of work in the library and moments later when I came into the room I found this on the floor.
She's a wild little bunny.
I am giving resting a good try and am definitely sitting a lot more than I usually sit but wow... Mae is a ball of energy that is into everything. And our half boxed up house is definitely not yet baby proof (although we've been trying to change that... the whole "rest" thing has definitely thrown a kink in my plans!). I am feeling much better. Which is good because these bunnies do not take a break.
I replaced the deodorant bar with Mae's new favorite mid-day snack, a cheese rice cake. She's a big fan.

I've got to go rescue Mae Bae. She climbed into a toy box and is stuck...
When Elizabeth was 18 months old, it took me a month to train her not to climb onto the kitchen table and dance back and forth. The climbers will definitely keep you on your toes!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I sympathize big time-- Little Tiger is almost two and into everything.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe she took a bite out of the deodorant. I bet she's thirsty after that. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteOh, I feel your pain! Violet is a climber too and she gets into EVERYTHING. She got into our pantry and dropped a jar of pickles; she got onto the table and shattered a coffee mug.
ReplyDeleteI've resorted to creating a baby jail (with this) and popping her into it if I need to put my feet up for a little while. She fusses at first but eventually the toys and books will occupy her (and sometimes William or Elanor will go in there with her, which makes her happy).
Just remember, duct tape has many uses... :)
