Jewelry Making Project #1

Another project I've been working on quite a bit is rosary making (hopefully there will be an Etsy store coming sooner rather than later!). This week I put my new rosary making/ wire twisting skills to the test and made a new necklace. I built it around my favorite Mary necklace. Here it is:

Making the chain out of plain old 20 gauge wire takes the most time, but I'm finally really getting the hang of it and speeding up!

And this necklace gets Sadie approval! She loves playing with it and it's tough enough that she can (she's snapped quite a few necklaces off my neck in the past twenty months!).

Now to rush into town to get some things done! Finally! Joann Fabric Sale here I come!

I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!
