Sadie's Big Night

For the past two nights I've been up late sewing...

And now she's ready for the ball.....

  1. An odd question...but what kind of chair do you use while sewing. You mention lots of late night sewing sessions, and well...my pelvis just complains so much at me. Of course, I am 40 weeks preggo at the moment, but I seriously do need a better chair for sustained sewing projects. So how do you stay comfortable?
Also, I am a self-taught sewing enthusiast, getting ready to plan an etsy shop in the near future. Your hard work, pictures, and sewing stories have inspired me to pursue my dream of teaching myself to sew. And I have stumbled upon something that women are now paying me to produce for them. I know I have your example to thank for motivating me to just go for it.
    Thanks so much!
    Sincerely,
    Randi

  2. What a happy smile! And I totally understand why... even now I would LOVE something with so much pink and lace, and at her age even more.

    God bless!

  3. Randi that's awesome to hear! Definitely send me the link when you have your store up and running!

I actually am probably really bad at where I sew! I have a little kids table I pull over and sew on the couch. For some reason the sewing doesn't bother me. When I have lots of cutting on my cutting board though my back will get really tired.

I think the couch actually might be gentler on my back than the wooden chair I used to use, because I haven't noticed myself getting as physically tired since I've been using it!

    Clare,

I'm the same way! I love pink, even now! I think I like it more now than I did when I was younger!

    God Bless!
