We are busy busy busy! Sadie's birthday party is tomorrow morning. When I gave out invitations at Church I wasn't sure anyone would come (we live about fifteen minutes from town and it's kind of hard to find because any time the county has tried to put up a sign on our road one neighbor or another has taken it down). We've gotten lots of RSVPs though, so it looks like it's going to be kind of big. The theme is Bunnies by the Bay. Mrs. Bunny, one of Sadie's favorite babies, is a Bunnies by the Bay bunny and when I saw that it was an actual theme for a birthday party (there are hats and plates and everything!) I decided that it would be absolutely perfect.
Nani and Grumpa have been hard at work in the yard and it looks absolutely beautiful. Grumpa even power washed the house (with dirt roads things get very dusty around here)! And while the sunflowers don't have actual flowers yet, they are lining the garden and are about five feet tall. I'll take lots of pictures! I can't believe that it was a year ago tomorrow that we headed to the hospital trying to figure out if my water had broken (it had!)!
Today's picture shows Sadie when she was one month old, taking a nap with Mrs. Bunny.
