Sadie wasn't a great helper when I was trying to pack my bag. She crawled over and sat next to the suitcase, looking very innocent. That should have been my first clue that she was up to something. Then when I turned my back to grab some freshly washed clothes that I'd folded on the bed she sprang.
When I turned back around she had pulled my clothes out of the suitcase and was shaking two of my dresses out on the floor. "Sadie, no, we don't do that." When I said the words I was laughing because she looked so cute, but she definitely understood that she was doing something that she wasn't supposed to do. She threw herself on the ground and stuck out her bottom lip, which started to tremble immediately. I knew we were on the verge of a meltdown. So I tickled her until she started to laugh and then we were back to packing.
I probably won't have a blog tomorrow because we'll be on the road. Hopefully Sadie sleeps all the way to Boston!
We will be praying for you guys. Can't imagine what that much time in a car with a little one would be like! You are brave!!!
