A Heart Beat!

A Heart Beat!

I just got back from the OB and things look good!  The cysts is still there and will probably be there for the whole pregnancy (and will hopefully go away afterwards) and will probably be pretty... uncomfortable... but it shouldn't and that baby looked good measuring in at 6w1d (my guess was 6w2d so pretty close!).

Thanks you to everyone for the prayers!

My doctor could tell I was seriously stressed out and was very sweet to get me in today.  I think I'll probably start to relax during the second trimester if everything goes smoothly!

Edited to add: An earlier typo made it look like we were having "babies" but there is only one!  Opps!

  8. Oh, hooray! Congratulations!

Thank you for your recent comment on my post regarding c-sections. And to answer your question, yes, we're gonna go for a homebirth next time.

Are you considering it? From what you mentioned, I definitely think you'd be a great candidate for a homebirth and could absolutely do it. I say, go for it!

God bless again to you and your growing family!

  9. Yay! I'm praying you through this pregnancy....I've got you in my 'heart' (a little read, heart shaped clear box) beneath a relic of St. Philomena in my little oratory. Beneath a San Damiano crucifix. :-)

I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!
