When Sadie was tiny I enthusiastically awaited the arrival of every milestone.
It's different with Patrick. I'm more like: "No buddy, really, it's cool. Just stay little."
He's just getting big too quickly!
Alas, he's determined to tag along after his sisters and indoors he can slide across the hard wood floors pretty much as fast as I can walk. Recently he's become interested in standing up (he kept trying to do it the other day not holding onto anything). He pretty much trails Maggie around the house as if she's the greatest thing since sliced bread (let's face it... she dresses like a super hero all the time... which makes her pretty cool to her little brother...). Here he is working on his newest skill (I figure there are probably some grandparents out there who'd like to see our latest home video!):
I know what you mean about younger kids growing up way too fast. Elsa's probably about 1-2 weeks away from walking, and I'm all Noooooooooooooooo.,...so NOT ready for that yet.
