Worth Its Weight...

I was hoping that Paul and I had dodged this latest round of fever/coughing/general miserableness that's going around, but last night it became clear that that wasn't going to be happening and so we're staying home this Sunday to attempt to not share the fun with our fellow parishioners (and also because I can't imagine wrangling Maggie while feeling like this).

Still, with Patrick napping and the girls playing in their "fort" it's a particularly quiet morning.  The stroller has just proved to be useful in another way:

  1. Now, if I were 5 (or 3), this would be a train and we'd be going on a trip and seeing mountains, and farms, and horses (and cowboys and indians) on our way; or we'd be on the high seas in our boat seeing whales and dolphins and octopi, when a big storm blows up and..... :-)

  2. Hope you all feel better soon! Also, as someone for whom this is a serious pet peeve...THANK YOU for staying home from church while you're sick! This cold/flu season, it seems as though every single time I go to Mass, I'm seated near people who are hacking up a lung, blowing their nose, sniffling incessantly...and then want to use the same hand they've been coughing into to offer the sign of peace. *twitch*

I'm really not OCD, I promise. :p I just hate getting sick!

I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!
