Our satellite internet is slower than dial up today, so this may be my only post! Only two more years until I'm thirty. I wonder where we will be then...

Sadie is not a fan of the happy birthday song. She has already burst into tears once today when Nani sang happy birthday when we came downstairs, so we'll have to work on variations of the song before the cake comes out tonight. It's the only song she reacts like that to, and I have no idea why! She usually loves singing.
I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!

Oh, that's funny! Kid you not, that song made me bawl every year when I was a kid. I think it had something to do with everyone staring at me and making such a fuss. I told that to a guy I dated in high school, and he began telling every single restaurant that we went to that it was my birthday so they'd come out singing. It was his thinking that this would help me get over my "Happy Birthday Song" phobia.ReplyDelete
It didn't work. :-)
Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great one and may God bless you with many more!ReplyDelete
You might be the very first April 1st birthday girl I've ever "met". Well, at least we all know Paul didn't get an April fool when he found you.ReplyDelete
I wish you many felicitations of the day.
