After asking me to repeat it about a hundred times she began saying the prayer (in Hebrew) on her own.  It's pretty much her favorite prayer of the moment, and since I had the camera out this morning I just had to ask her if she wanted to say it.  And of course, since the camera was there, she added "cheese!" at the end:

  2. Hi Jennifer (and welcome!)-

The Hebrew is: Sh'ma Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Ehad
which translates into- Hear, O Israel: the Lord is our God, the Lord is One

there's a bit more information on it here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shema_Yisrael

I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!
