Sadie's "Sofia the First" Dress

Two nights of work and it's almost finished!  I'm really excited with how it turned out.  According to Sadie it still needs "pearls" and "flowers."  And that was just her describing, in detail, the dress that she's hoping I'll make, all day long!

Here it is in pieces when I was dreaming up the pattern.  The skirt construction took the longest.  I was so relieved when it turned out the way I was hoping it would!
Here's the top before it was attached.

  2. I bet she's going to be thrilled when she sees that dress. I'm amazed at these princess dresses you make without any patterns. The skirt on this one is pretty impressive.

  3. The dress is darling! I admire your making of the gifts. That is simply awesome and so much better than store bought stuff.

Have a blessed and peaceful Christmas!

I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!
