The parking lot was full. Inside was insanity. I slowly made my way down the aisles I needed to go down and then got to the front of the store and saw the lines.
Before that point I'd heard someone say: "I've never seen a line that long in all my life." But I hadn't thought much of it. I should have. Because a short while later I would look up and see a guy from the local news station snapping footage of us:
I'm in a red sweater right between the base of the M and the E. I have a long, long way to go to get to the front of the store. |
I'm still glad to have made it out with groceries though (quite a few people were giving up and leaving their stuff and walking out). I'm ready for the storm. I hope. As long as we don't lose power again that is!
And for anyone who's been wondering I have been keeping the house a little bit warmer! Thank you all again! The indiegogo site ended today and I'm still practically falling over every time I think about it!
VERY happy to hear the house is a bit warmer!!! No need to freeze those bunnies!
