Midterm Elections

I'm glued to the news (online) right now!

While I'm not the best Republican in the world by a long shot, I recognize the importance of these elections and because of the causes that are near and dear to my heart I'm routing passionately to see the red states engulf and overtake the blue states!

And I'm hoping against hope that my own state doesn't send Barbara Boxer back to the senate. There are few politicians out there that are so incredibly anti-life.

I was also very disappointed by the primary choices (and results). I have no use for Meg Whitman (or Jerry Brown). I won't vote for a pro-death republican (or anyone for that matter!) and don't believe that she's the "lesser of two evils" (no I think these two are pretty equal in this case).

However I'm thrilled about the way things are going at the moment! I can't believe how close the senate numbers are right now!

And here's the necklace that I created last night out of a pair of earrings I won at our local republican women's club! I wore it today for the first time!

And I can hardly wait to see what's going to happen next! The girls are in their PJs and we're about to head up to the court house to see what's happened locally so far!

Praying that the right people to lead our county, state and country win tonight!

  1. I noticed on CNN that Colorado has an amendment that would "apply personhood — and all of its rights — from "the beginning of the biological development" of a human being."

Sadly, it's not doing very well.

  2. I just heard Prop. 19 failed in California and thought of you! :) Yay! It's unfortunate that Boxer won, though. :(

I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!
