Mae Bae Smile: Our Finalized Housing Plans

I know what your thinking: "How many posts can she do in one day?"

But I'm very excited!

We found out that we got housing and...

We are going to be moving in to a two bedroom two bath apartment with a den! At 1500 sq ft it will be by far the most space we've ever had! It will be 10x bigger than the cabin and twice as big as our trailer!

And the den can do double duty as an office/craft room so Paul can study and I can work! When we heard the price I was sure we'd gotten the tiny apartments but... the paperwork came today and it's the big one!

I'm on cloud nine!

  3. How wonderful for you all!

My daughter and SIL in Berkeley have been in a 550 sq. foot apartment (the rents out there!!!), and will be moving into a nice little home when they move to Louisiana, and are doing the happy dance; we know how happy you are!

Some exciting new adventures soon to come for you!

  5. That's great news. And you're right, 1500 sq ft is a decent size. Our old house was that size and we only outgrew it because we had a lot of junk. I hope the move goes smoothly and you don't have any run-ins with reptiles. ;)

  6. Thanks everybody! Paul is actually going to move out the end of July/beginning of August with all the furniture and then the girls and I are going to fly out with my family after he's been there for a few days!

I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!
