Subject matter jurisdiction.... 28 USC... 8 (c) 1... 1331... I have Civil Procedure echoing around my brain. I woke up with terms running in a pretty much non-stop stream to Mae Bae saying "Ma, ma, ma, ma, ma!!!!"
Paul basically explained what he'd learned this semester to me and then had be quiz him from 7-something to almost midnight last night. While proofreading theology papers for his Masters was a bit more interesting, I have been amazed as I quiz him by how much he's learned! And if anyone wants to offer up a quick prayer for him, he's taking the exam today at 9 am and I'm sure he'd appreciate it!
This is his last exam before the Christmas break and I am so excited that the last two weeks of finals are almost over and that we'll be seeing him again!
Yay! That is truly exciting.
ReplyDeleteMy husband just left to take his first of 3 exams (between this week and next) and I am currently halfway through a research paper that is due by 5:00 pm and then I have two exams next week. I am such a procrastinator! Next Saturday, I will be walking at commencement and then we will both be college graduates, my husband having a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice and I will have a Bachelor's in History.
After all of this, it will be an exciting time to celebrate with friends and family. I can understand the lack of family time, and I am so glad that you will have your husband back for Christmas break. Congratulations and best wishes during this time. We will be praying for him!
Congratulations to you two too! How exciting! And just in time to relax (hopefully relax anyways!) for Christmas!
ReplyDeletePraying!
ReplyDelete(I think you're posting time is off....this comment is at 9:06am)
For some reason it always posts like I'm in California. I'd wondered if that was a blogger thing since google is in California? Or maybe because I started my blog when I was living in California? Has anyone else noticed weird time posting on other blogs, or does it usually match your time zone?
ReplyDeleteI figured it out. There's a formatting place and it was set for Pacific time. That's why my post times were always off by so much!
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting that he'll be done! I definitely said a prayer for him, and I hope his exam's go well.
ReplyDeleteSee you soon!!
My prayers for his success. I always asked St. Joseph of Cupertino and St. Thomas Aquinas for help on my exams as well as in my studies. The St. Thomas Aquinas prayer book has a really amazing prayer for before study! In both Latin and English. :)
ReplyDeleteAh civil procedure, felt like I went into that final blind. Luckily the prof tested us on what he taught, which was nothing. I actually learned civil procedure in my other classes, notably conflict of laws. I am a little envious though, he is done quite early. I had a final on the 23rd of Dec one year. Prayers for your husband.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I have a possible interview for a job as a document review attorney, could I ask for some prayers, we could really use this job (so we can pay rent next month), and I need the experience.
Oh wow! The 23rd would be late! That would have driven me crazy!
ReplyDeleteAnd prayers that you have a wonderful interview and get the job! The whole getting a job after graduation is so scary, even from my perspective here in his first year! Prayers!
I'll keep him in my prayers for sure. I must admit, I am rather envious that his finals are almost over, I am studying for my Bachelor's in Elementary Education, and my school's finals week doesn't begin until next Thursday. Could I also ask for some prayers for my tests this coming week, especially a Precalculus one??
ReplyDeleteLove the blog and God bless!!!
I'll definitely keep you in our prayers too! You're in the home stretch (that's what I was telling myself all this last week!)!
