Snood Shop News!

I had fun tonight updating my snood shop.  The shop had been listed by fabric type (for snoods), but as the number of headbands and convertible coverings grew and as I'd added patterns, it began to make sense to find a different way to organize my shop.  I'd toyed with the idea of creating shop sections based on color.  Tonight I made the change and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

And it helps me to see where I need to add to the shop and what I should be working on as the seasons change and certain colors become more popular in autumn and winter.

Here are the sections, for those of you who are curious:

I'm coming up with new ideas for the holidays and for fall.  My biggest problem at the moment is that I have so many ideas and so little time!

  1. They're lovely Cam.
I just had a laugh because the red snood with black print first looked like a pirate design on my little phone screen ... how funny would it be rocking up to mass with a skull and cross bone snood! haha. I would never though! O:-)

  2. Do they stay in place on your head? I have tried many different things for my head, like scarves, or those bands that you either tie on or that are elastic and they all slip down my hair within 5 minutes of putting them on. I don't know if maybe I am not doing it right. I have tried bobby pins but maybe I am not doing those right either. So how do you keep them from slipping?

  3. They do stay in place! I actually started wearing snoods because I got tired of wild and crazy toddlers yanking every headcovering off of my head, and of all the pinning that accompanied getting ready for mass. These are secured with elastic and a tie in the back!

  4. Opps! I forgot the one exception in my shop! The lace snoods without crepe may need pins if they're worn with long hair that's down. Mine stay put if my hair is up. But they don't hold the weight of long hair that's down.

I love comments and I read every single comment that comes in (and I try to respond when the little ones aren't distracting me to the point that it's impossible!). Please show kindness to each other and our family in the comment box. After all, we're all real people on the other side of the screen!
